What are Dead Calm candles made from?

Our sculpted candles are made using our in-house custom blend of soy wax.

Are your candles vegan?

Yes. Our candles are vegan and cruelty free. 

Why does my candle have imperfections?

Each candle is individually poured and finished. Small variations in colour, texture and surface can occur.

Soy wax will naturally develop a frosted, white or cloudy appearance over time. This is a normal characteristic of natural soy wax and does not affect the candle's quality or performance.

SIZES

How do I know which size to buy?

Small is ideal for smaller spaces and shelves.

Average weight of 195g. Dimensions L x W x H. 

Medium is our everyday statement piece.

Average weight of 900g. Dimensions L x W x H. 

Large is designed to make considerably more of a statement.

Average weight of 1750g. Dimensions L x W x H.  

Because of its unique shape, melted wax may naturally escape through the eyes, nose or sides of the skull while burning, drastically affecting its burn time.

This is an expected characteristic of a sculpted candle and doesn't mean there's anything wrong with your skull.

No two skulls will behave exactly the same.

Are the sizes the same shape?

Yes the skull design remains consistent, with the overall size changing between Small, Medium and Large.
